Silicon Carbide Heating Rod Description

 

Silicon Carbide Heating Rod is a kind of nonmetal high temperature electric heating element.

It is made of selected super quality green silicon carbide as main material,which is made into blank,silicide under high temperature and re-crystallized. Max temperature 1600 deg C.

 

Heaters silicon carbide SiC heater have rather large specific resistance. When it is heated in air and the surface temperature of the hot zone reaches 1050°C,it's resistance rate is 600-1400mm2/mm and its resistance value changes as the temperature rises which is negative value from room-temperature to 800 °C and is postive value nature over 800 °C .

 

Silicon Carbide Heating Rod are capable of high power output, and may be mounted either vertically or horizontally.
